Welcome to Duetour (playduetour.com). By using the site you agree to these terms. They are short; please read them.
What Duetour is
Duetour is a free browser game for personal, non-commercial entertainment: a cozy virtual drive where you can play music, customize the car, and ride with one friend.
Music and other people's content
- All music is streamed through YouTube's official embedded player. Duetour does not host, store, copy, or download any audio. Songs, recordings, and artwork belong to their respective rights holders.
- Your use of the embedded player is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Lyrics are provided by the community-run LRCLIB service and belong to their respective rights holders.
- If you are a rights holder and believe content reachable through Duetour infringes your rights, the content itself lives on YouTube, and their reporting tools are the fastest path. You can also contact us at the address below.
- Duetour is an independent hobby project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, Vercel, LRCLIB, or any artist or label.
Playing nicely
- Do not use Duetour to harass anyone. Voice chat connects you directly to the person you invited; what you say to each other is between you, so ride with people you trust.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, scrape, or reverse the service, or to interfere with other people's rooms.
- Room code words are first-come, first-served and temporary. Pick something private if you do not want a stranger guessing it.
Your saved data
Discs and settings are saved only in your own browser. Clearing your browser data erases them, and we have no way to recover them, because we never had them.
No warranty
Duetour is provided as is, free of charge, without warranties of any kind. Songs can become unavailable, third-party services (YouTube, LRCLIB, PeerJS) can change or break, and the site may be updated, interrupted, or discontinued at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Duetour and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Your only remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it. And please, do not play while actually driving.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its effective date. Continuing to use Duetour after a change means you accept the new terms.
